Matthew Wilson, AIA, NCARB

Mr. Wilson, Owner/Principal Architect of 907 Architecture is a hard working, talented, and team-oriented architect who truly enjoys the balance between art and architecture within the context of a changing economy. Mr. Wilson ultimately understands the need to be thoughtful, pragmatic, and accommodating with realistic design solutions and services. Mr. Wilson has worked full time in the field of Architecture in Alaska since 2003.

He graduated with a Master Degree of Architecture with a minor in Landscape Architecture in 2003 from the University of Idaho. He is Licensed to perform Architectural Services in Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, and Maine.

He has since worked for three other Alaskan firms and has held the positions of drafter, intern architect, project manager, and project architect before forming his own firm in 2015.

He is capable in all aspects of the building and design process.

He has provided design solutions for most regions of the state of Alaska with the majority of work in the region from the Municipality of Anchorage to the North Slope Borough. He has provided code compliance inspections and design solutions in the North Slope oil fields and many remote villages spread throughout the state.

He has extensive experience with design-build projects for various public and private clients.

Mr. Wilson excels in all aspects of the design and construction process and is especially proficient in design, computer graphics and technical problem solving.
